NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Edwin J. Stecklein, 95, of New Milford, died Nov. 25.
Before retiring, Stecklein was a mechanical engineer for the Bendix Corporation in Teterboro. He was a staff sergeant during World War II for the U.S. Marines. He was a proud Marine until his dying day.
He was the beloved husband of Muriel (née Weyhausen) Stecklein and the devoted father of the late Kenneth W. Stecklein.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Volk Leber Funeral Home 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell There will be a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 280 Washington Ave., Dumont. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
